As we are always striving to improve the quality of our service and delivery of our holidays we appreciate any comments received from our customers. “The people are lovely. The flora and fauna are outstandingly gorgeous and interesting. The geography of the island is amazing to see. Having been to India we appreciated the cleanliness everywhere we were in Sri Lanka. All in all, we loved our trip and we have already recommended Tikalanka to friends but with the proviso to be specific with what they’re looking for in a guide/driver.”

“Heard about Tikalanka through a friend, and have already recommended you to other friends. We are recommending [Sri Lanka] as a destination to everyone we talk to and would like to go back to see the parts we couldn’t get to this time as well as the north. Apart from the cyclone we liked just about everything, so it’s hard to say what was best. Nihal was very kind, professional and knowledgeable and we always felt safe with him. Otherwise, thank you for making sure we were looked after in the storm.”

“Our experience with Tikalanka was exceptional from start to finish. John worked closely with us to build a 15-day itinerary and was consistently responsive throughout the planning process. I had approached several agencies, but Tikalanka was the first to reply, took the time to understand our requirements, and delivered a competitively priced proposal that met all our needs. Once we arrived in Sri Lanka, Pathi, John’s partner on the ground, was equally supportive. Hotels were booked and adjustments were made without any fuss, excursions were well organised, and the chauffeur guides were excellent. We happened to be in the country when Cyclone Ditwah hit, and this is when their professionalism truly stood out. Minor itinerary changes were handled seamlessly, and they remained in regular contact to check on our welfare. Despite the wider crisis, we always felt like a priority. Overall, the service was seamless, professional, and highly reliable. We would not hesitate to recommend Tikalanka.”

“We had a fantastic time. It was our first visit to Sri Lanka. We chose Sri Lanka as we heard great things about it from friends. We wanted to take the girls somewhere far and different but at the same time we wanted to avoid very touristy destinations like Thailand and at the same time we wanted to avoid monsoons as we live in Ireland and it rains a lot! We were also very interested in the food. We would certainly recommend Sri Lanka as a holiday destination and Tikalanka too.”

“We had an amazing time in Sri Lanka – thank you for helping us plan such a memorable trip! The wildlife was absolutely incredible, and we still can't believe we actually spotted a whale during the boat safari – truly unforgettable. The food throughout the trip was outstanding – we didn’t have a single plate we didn’t enjoy. We were really impressed with all of our accommodations throughout our trip to Sri Lanka – each place had its own charm and made our journey even more special.
