A note to thank you for a fantastic and memorable trip to Sri Lanka over the past two weeks.
We are incredibly grateful to you, Pathi and Ravi for a well planned, smoothly executed and safe holiday experience. The variety of accommodations and experiences incorporated was terrific.
Pathi's hospitality in Kandy was excellent. Staff at all accommodation, in fact, were incredibly accommodating and helpful, particularly with regard to the children and their food needs. Not only is Ravi a knowledgeable and experienced driver and guide, but he is a friendly and generous soul. We really appreciated his willingness to adapt to our needs each day and to pull over to show us interesting wildlife or agriculture/culture along the way. We also really appreciated the safe and careful way that Ravi drives. It was a pleasure to travel with him.
A minor point of feedback – In the context of travelling with young children, we found that the driving time estimates were often underestimated by about 20-30 per cent. Enough that we may have changed our plans had we been able to fully factor this in – although it didn't detract from our overall trip enjoyment. Just a small point to perhaps consider for future family trips. [We apppreciate your helpful comment about estimated journey times and we will update the estimates included in future itineraries. I am glad that the journeys weren’t too arduous for you and Ravi looked after you so well. He is one of our star guides and a great chap to boot, as you found out.]
