Well I can't say it's a pleasure to be home ... But I guess I have to get working to pay for the next trip!!!!

Thank you very much for organising our fantastic holiday, everything was exceptional, all the accommodation met and in most cases exceeded my expectations.
I think I also owe you a huge thanks for changing us into 98 Acres [Resort] at Ella, which was wonderful and if I were to go again I wouldn't hesitate to choose it again.

Just to let you know...

Horathapola Estate [Airport] was a lovely start, and, as we were the only guests, we felt very spoilt! They served us tea and cake on arrival, and the most delicious evening meal of assorted curries. Could easily have stayed there longer relaxing amongst the bird filled trees.

The Wild Grass [Nature Resort, Sigiriya] villa was beautiful, and we all loved the novelty of the outdoor showers. The staff was extremely friendly and took the time to have a chat every time we were in the reception area. Having read some comments from TripAdvisor, I was beginning to wonder if they were at the same place as us!

Hotel Suisse in Kandy was exactly what I expected, and the bar areas etc were lovely. I chose it due to its location close to the town centre as we wanted the opportunity to eat out etc which we did so can't really comment on the food.

I don't think there is anything I can write about the Ceylon Tea Trails [Norwood Bungalow, Adam's Peak] which would do it justice!! There aren't enough superlatives!

Kulu Safaris [Yala] were amazing, what lovely people and what wonderful service they provide, so well organised and fantastic food, in fact some of the best food we had!

We felt quite privileged to be staying at 41 Lighthouse Street, a real hidden gem. We were probably stupid not to make use of Prageeth to cook for us, but there were so many places to eat in Galle that it was nice to go out. It was wonderful for us that Polo and Cricket the dogs were there, it was lovely to walk them round the ramparts... They must be a couple of the luckiest dogs in Sri Lanka. There was quite a lot of building noise though as the owner of 41 is building a small hotel at the rear of the house, but this could have been the case anywhere within the fort as so many properties are being renovated.

Tintagel is like an oasis in the middle of Colombo, great that we had taken our gin left over from 41 with us, so we turned up at the bar well armed. Lovely attentive service from all the staff there and like staying in a mini art gallery.

Last but by no means least, our driver/guide, Anura, was a very nice man. Very patient with our requests to take more and more photos. He was very knowledgeable about birds and once he realised we were armed with our binoculars and also liked birds he made a point of showing us all he could. He wasn't so big on the history as other guides we have had in other places, but we still got all the information we wanted and needed without glazing over!

I am sure there is still more I could say but I fear you would be the one glazing over!!

If we do return to Sri Lanka we would like to see some other areas, probably including Jaffna and the north of the island, so would be very interested to be updated on any information you have re travelling there.

We loved Sri Lanka and its people and would recommend it to anyone, it really was a paradise.

Your website is excellent - allowed me to plan sightseeing and accommodation really easily and we found your timings on travel to be fairly accurate despite the other road users!

Thank you again for your help and advice.
