What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Huge variety of things to do.
Welcoming and friendly people.
Food.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Didn’t like Kandy – was very busy city and not a lot of interesting things to do / see.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Mostly very good – best places were AMBA [Farmhouse, Ella], 41 Lighthouse [Street, Galle] and the villa in Negombo [Villa Hundira].
We didn’t like Trincolmee [Trinco] Blu [Uppuveli] – felt very Tui package holiday. We were really pleased that we stayed at the hotel in Nivali [Nilaveli] beach [Nilaveli Beach Hotel] as this was a better hotel and beach although the area was very quiet.
Wouldn’t recommend eating at Tric [Trinco] Blu – food was average but we ate well just walking down from the beach.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Anura was a great guide – he was a really humble and kind person. We enjoyed his company and hearing about Sri Lanka from him.
He looked after us so well – buying fruit and treats along the way for us to try.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Very good – we were happy to have the short stopover at Doha. [Qatar Airways – London Heathrow]
Any other comments?
Thank you for your help in organizing such a memorable trip to Sri Lanka – we had an amazing trip and really loved the country.
We two children are already keen to back pack around the country and we know that we could easily return another time of the year and see new places.
I have recommended both SL and Tiki Lanka [Tikalanka] to friends – it was a special trip and I think we were very lucky to see it relatively unspoilt and unpopulated with tourists.
