What did you like most about Sri Lanka and Maldives?
Sri Lanka - So varied, sightseeing and Kapila [chauffeur guide].
Maldives - Fab snorkelling, great room, service and food [Angsana Ihuru].
What did you like least about Sri Lanka and Maldives?
Sri Lanka - Welcombe Bay Hotel, Trincomalee and south west resort areas - too developed.
Maldives - expensive trips.
Any other comments?
Kapila, our chauffeur guide, was excellent. He made an excellent trip outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was informative, friendly, conscientious, fun - an absolute delight. After 3 weeks he felt like a true friend. We are so grateful for his kindness throughout especially when I dislocated and fractured my shoulder at Mirissa. He was more concerned than us even. He went the extra mile for us time and time again. We'll never forget him - a fantastic ambassador for Tikalanka Tours and for Sri Lanka.
PS Welcombe Bay Hotel, Trincomalee not up to scratch. Nice location but dirty - huge cockroaches in bathroom and bedroom, my pet hate.
