What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Everything! Landscape, culture, people, food…
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Nothing.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Generally very good. Our favourite was [The] Planter’s Bungalow in Ella – excellent location, amenities, food, very friendly staff and we liked the Fortaleza Landesi in Galle too. The Grand [Hotel, Nuwara Eliya] was grand – it was a pity we didn’t get to have breakfast there. Hanthana House [Kandy] was disappointing – cramped room, smelly bathroom, poor location.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Nihal was excellent! Knowledgeable, friendly, he made us feel very much at ease. Great driver.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Fine. [SriLankan Airlines – Economy Class]
Any other comments?
Thank you for arranging such a great holiday for us. We had a fantastic time. The sequence, pacing and diversity of the trip were excellent. I look forward to returning to Sri Lanka soon.
