What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Ok, but not outstanding.
Galle [Fort Bliss]: just ok but very nice breakfast;
Yala camp [Big Game Camp Yala]: ok (but food below average);
Ella [Zion View]: nice;
Nuwara Eliya [Hill Cottage]: long past his prime time, missing light bulbs, mould behind the cupboard etc.;
Kandy [Hanthana House]: very nice stay and great food, definitely the best accommodation and food of all hotels;
Palm Garden [Village Hotel, Anuradhapura]: very nice;
Habarana tree house [Galkadawala]: too far to use as a base, esp. for three days; we had flea bites all over; food was mixed; owner very particular (and not very welcoming);
Nilaveli Beach Hotel [Nilaveli]: hotel nice but too isolated, food definitely too expensive for what it was;
Negombo [Villa Araliya]: very nice.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Very good, safe driver, reliable, very nice person – a pleasure to go around with him. [Ravi]
