What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Variety, friendliness, cuisine.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Heat and humidity, quality of drinking water, standard of driving.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Very good, possibly too high end for us.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Polite, knowledgeable, punctual, reliable, good safe driver. Maintained a professional balance between friendliness and business. [Mahesh]
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
No comment. We arranged our own flights, but we used SriLankan Airways [Airlines] which was good.
Any other comments?
Yes, we did enjoy our visit to Sri Lanka. Thank you and Pathi both for your efforts on our behalf. Mahesh (Ayesh as we discovered just before leaving!) was an excellent guide. He was polite, prompt, good company and very knowlegeable. He did all (and occasionally more than) we asked of him including a diversion on the last day via Galle before return to the airport. This was the first holiday we have taken where we had a guide with us all the time. We normally do "our own thing". Ayesh made us realise that the alternative of a guided tour can also work.
Well organised tour with flexibility to add stop in Galle on return to Colombo.
It was a first for us to have a driver and guide dedicated to our visit. Although it took a little getting used to, it was appreciated.
