What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Beautiful scenery, diverse wildlife, particularly birds.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
We’d looked forward to ascending the rock fortress at Sigiriya, but had to abandon it when we found it completely blocked by an enormous group of probably 500 plus other tourists – we should perhaps have been an hour or so earlier to avoid the log-jam.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
All hotels were good, our favourites possibly being Jetwing Warwick Gardens [Nuwara Eliya] and Imagine Villa Hotel, Mirissa.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Kapila was an excellent guide and a careful driver. His knowledge of the wildlife is comprehensive, and he took great care to ensure we saw and identified everything we encountered. We could have not wanted a more caring, thoughtful companion for our visit.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
They were all good, comfortable, on time, and the food was above average. [Emirates – Economy Class – Manchester]
Any other comments?
We have thought of visiting Sri Lanka for some time, and contacted Tikalanka following a friend’s recommendation. We have not been disappointed, and at every stage of the booking procedure, and the subsequent visit, have been satisfied with the service received.
