What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Scenery, people, wildlife, food, variety.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Mosquitoes, hard-sell/tipping pressure.
We felt that the hard selling at the gem place, spice garden and batik factory were unpleasant in the pressure exerted. These weren't on the itinerary and we were surprised by how we were pressurised by being made to feel guilty about not tipping for massage that we hadn't known we were going to have, or spending excessive amounts of money. They were interesting but made us feel very uncomfortable.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Very impressed (especially Kalu’s Hideaway [Uda Walawe] – we were spoilt to get the top floor suite!).
We felt that Kassapa Lion [Rock, Sigiriya] was not as well equipped – no fridge, mosquito net or plug-in. Also the grounds could do with more TLC.
The Wi-Fi at Hanthana House [Kandy] wasn’t great.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Couldn’t be better. Nihal was an absolute star!
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Excellent – so much food!! [SriLankan Airlines - Economy Class]

We had such a fantastic time. Thank you very much indeed.
Great, varied itinerary. The trips, hotels and transport were excellent, only with a few hitches which we got over without much trouble which is to be expected.
We need to be in Kandy for the elephant parade – missed it by a day. (next time)
Would like to experience calm seas next time – Tangalle beaches were rough with v. strong currents.
May be an explanation about the 2 restaurants at Palm Paradise [Cabanas, Tangalle] would be helpful. The bottom one has a buffet every other night and serves more food at a cheaper price than the pool one (dinner).
