Essential Information For Maldives

Passport

You must hold a valid passport to enter Maldives. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of one month. However, if arriving by air, most airlines state that your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Maldives.

Visa

A visa is issued free on arrival for stays of up to 30 days, provided you hold a valid ticket to continue your journey out of Maldives and have enough funds to cover your stay. You must also complete an Immigration Arrival Card before approaching the Immigration Officer on arrival.

Traveller Declaration Form

All travellers to Maldives must complete an online Traveller Declaration Form 96 hours before departure to and return from Maldives.

Local Departure Tax and Airport Development Fee in Maldives are included in your flight ticket.
