Dhivehi is the official language spoken in all parts of Maldives. English is widely spoken by Maldivians and visitors can easily make themselves understood. In the resorts, the staff is multinational and multilingual so there are no issues with language.

“We went for its wildlife and saw so many different birds and other wildlife it was great. The parks were very beautiful with many flowers – we’re not used to seeing elephants with so much beautiful vegetation (having mainly seen then in the African savanna).
