What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
The people, the food, the wildlife.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Nothing I can think of.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
The accommodation was very good. We stayed at Melheim [Resort, Beragala] on our last visit and really enjoyed it and it was excellent again this time. Cinnamon Wild [Yala] was also very good.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Anura was our guide again and I consider him a friend. 10/10.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Long! Night flights are not great but unfortunately that’s just the way it is. [Arranged their own flights]
Any other comments?
Overall we had an excellent time. I saw around 125 species of birds. At Yala we saw 4 leopards, including 2 very close, and 3 sloth bears, so we were very lucky.
The food at Melheim was amazing. I spoke with the chefs to tell them how good it was. We ate Sri Lankan food most nights when there was a Sri Lankan option.
I would definitely recommend Sri Lanka to friends and Tikalanka.
